Case Study:                 Promotional CD-ROM Development Project
The Task
The Department of Labor was preparing for a nation-wide launch of their new America's Learning eXchange (ALX) web site and wanted to create a promotional CD-ROM as part of their launch strategy.

The Client
The U.S. Department of Labor, America's Learning eXchange (ALX) is a national online college course catalog resource for students and people interested in continuing education.

The Situation
ALX needed help with the promotional campaign strategy for their new web site launch. They knew they needed to get a lot of information out to educational institutions, students and workforce/guidance counselors. They also wanted to include tools for converting course offering data into a format acceptable for upload into the ALX database.

The Action
Working with content developers, we created the CD-ROM, its content, and tools and managed the CD-ROMs development and production.

The Results
The resulting CD-ROM was used to successfully launch the promotional campaign for the national ALX web site. Many partners, institutions, students, workforce counselors, etc. requested and were given copies of the CD-ROM.
